NEXUS Rail is a Canada-based consultancy working with owners, designers and contractors across Canada, the United States and internationally. We plug into live programs as a Systems Engineering and System & Safety Assurance partner, and we stay through testing, commissioning and acceptance. We integrate into complex rail programs either as a focused System & Safety Assurance function or as a long-term delivery partner, scaling capacity with the program and carrying governance, engineering judgement and acceptance discipline from design through operations.
NEXUS Rail is led by Jorge López Moyano, a System & Safety Assurance specialist with 15+ years across LRT, metro and high-speed rail. His technical foundation was shaped by Spanish and broader European rail delivery culture, and his programme experience spans North America, the Middle East and Europe — from early design through acceptance gates and entry into service.
To scale without diluting quality, NEXUS Rail draws on a bench of senior engineers with 25+ years across the core rail disciplines, activated to match each program. That model was shaped in demanding environments: LRT in Canada, metro and LRT in Tel Aviv, airport and metro infrastructure in Doha, and high-speed rail in Spain — alongside Siemens and CAF, and within Deutsche Bahn-led delivery.
